What are Topics?

Part blog, part Zettelkasten, also part Instagram, Twitter, etc. I wanted a place to store notes and thoughts, book excerpts, perhaps the occasional image and so forth in a somewhat organized manner that would be a useful reference and repository for processing the world [REWRITE].

Isn’t this a blog? I suppose so, but I also didn’t want it to have the shape of a blog because I may not always update it regularly and I think whenever you land on a blog and the last post was maybe a year ago it just feels sad. I didn’t want this section of the site to feel sad.
